Rosie O'Donnell is about 90% Right in this Clip

I can't believe im agreeing with Rosie! Man she has guts. She basically said everything right, except the part about invading countries for oil and money. Those "War for Oil' slogans are just there to distract the left-wing mob from concentrating on the real reasons why America is invading Middle-Eastern countries. Rarely do you hear in the media why America invaded Iraq and why Iran is next. There was this one documentary from the "Passionate Eye" on CBC that explained why this is happening. The documentary was called "The World According to Bush." I remember watching it for the first time and my jaw dropped to the ground. I could not believe what the CBC was showing on air. What was more surprising was that they actually repeated the airing of the documentary. That documentary broke some many "unwritten rules" when it comes to North American media.

Wow, blond girl in the video... talk about a naive, propaganda-eating American.

George Bush should be worried. Now all the daytime television viewers will be questioning the administration. He better make a pre-emptive strike and call Rosie un-American.

I think we can do better than get our information and opinions from 'The View' and Rosie O'Donnell! It's sad that I have to mention that.

What is sad, is you missing the point. Im not getting my information from "The View" or Rosie. Just tried to show how refreshing it is to hear some truth in the mainstream media. Especially if its coming from such a show as "The View." Hence me saying "I can't believe im agreeing with Rosie." I also pointed out a flaw in her logic, but she did a good job for a Hollywood entity. She only gave a bare-skeleton of the issues, and you can't ask for more in a 10 mintute morning-show segment.

I mentioned a good source already if you wanna get down to real business.

By the way, where do you get your "information and opinions?"
Wolf Blitzer?

It's sad that you have such a narrow view of "hard political information". Hopefully some propaganda gobbling blondes, like the one on rosie, will watch this (because "obviously" blondes dont watch "real news") and think a little bit more critically about their opinions.

Also, have you ever heard of "alternative publics" ? Look into it. There is lots of research done that shows that political discourse and action can take place outside of "hard nosed media" (which Rosie points out is owned by 4 money grabbing corporations). The stance you are taking abc is called "elitest high culture". We need to broaden our sense of the political public sphere if we want to get more information, and more action.

I agree with everyones points on here with the exception of abc123. Like notalemming said its not about 'the view' or taking advice from Rosie its the fact that she had enough guts to say what she really thinks! I'm sure she probably got in trouble for saying her opinion especially about the View's network because that goes against what a lot of the big corporations want their puppets to say. I enjoyed this clip so much that I showed it to friends and my boyfriend. They were pleased and respected Rosie that much more. As for the dumb blond all I could do is laugh when she said 'in a time of war we must trust our government'. Can we say NAIVE MUCH!? Then again i'm sure shes an actress and has no clue as to what the hell is going on in the world of politics. I also heard about conspiracies with regards to 9/11 about that building miraculously falling the way it did. Makes you really think. anyways, I enjoyed this clip very much because its basically in-line with what I feel as well. As maybe you noticed from my previous posts. I'm proud of Rosie even though she might get slammed in the media with being 'unpatriotic' which is a load of garbage.
